Accessibility

We want Orimono Elegance to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology like screen readers, screen magnifiers or keyboard-only navigation. Accessibility matters to us both as good design and because we want as many people as possible to shop here comfortably, whatever device or tool they use to browse.

What we do

  • Descriptive image text. We write alt text for product and page images so screen readers can describe what's shown.
  • Clear headings. Pages are organized with headings in a logical order, so you can navigate by section rather than reading top to bottom every time.
  • Readable contrast. We choose text and background colors with readability in mind, so product details and pricing are easy to read at a glance.
  • Keyboard-friendly navigation. You should be able to move through menus, links, product options and forms using a keyboard alone, without a mouse or touchscreen.
  • Plain, direct language. We write our pages in plain language and avoid unnecessary jargon, which helps everyone, including people using screen readers or translation tools.

Our commitment

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we're working continuously to improve the site rather than treating accessibility as finished. Some of that work happens as we build new pages and products; some of it is going back through older parts of the site to bring them up to the same standard. We may not have every page exactly where we want it yet, and we welcome the feedback that helps us get there faster.

Something not working for you?

If you run into a barrier anywhere on this site, or you'd like help completing an order in a different way, email us at orimonoelegance@gmail.com. Let us know what page you were on and what happened, and we'll do our best to help right away and to fix what we can for the next visitor.
